Sunrise at Snowbird

It has been a long time since I have posted and I am sorry for that. Work has been awfully busy lately and I just finished up two more weeks in Salt Lake City. For the last two years on the last day I am in Salt Lake I have hiked to the summit of the mountain that I have been staying at. You can read last year's blog entry here: The Summit

This year, I again decided to hike to the summit. Instead of telling a story about my hike - I thought I would just show some pics. Everytime I go up there it is so impressive and breathtaking - no story can do it justice but hopefully the pictures can.

My 2nd Favorite City

Chicago is home and it is my favorite city but San Francisco is a close second. Usually in the summer when I have to travel for work I like to go and get home so I can enjoy summer at home but last week I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days in San Francisco and it reaffirmed my ranking of the city.

I did a lot for only being there about a day and a half so instead of writing too much I thought I would just post pics:

AT&T Park - home of the San Francisco Giants. The Giants be the Diamondbacks 13-0.
Editor's note: While our hero likes San Francisco - he hates Barry Bonds.

The Ferry Building on the Embarcadero, one of my favorite spots for San Francisco delicacies.

The Japanese Gardens in Golden Gate Park.

World Famous Lombard street. Yes I drove down it as well!

No trip to California is complete without a stop at In and Out Burger. Single meal, animal style.

A few of the bay from Tiburon. Doesn't it just look like a great place to be!

The Bay Bridge from downtown - the Bay Bridge links SF and Oakland.

No trip to San Francisco is complete without a trip to the Golden Gate bridge.
